The Stove Buddy CO Alarm is a Carbon Monoxide detector with a 10-year lifespan. It will sound a loud and clear alarm when Carbon Monoxide is detected in the room. The Stove Buddy CO alarm comes with a built-in lithium battery designed to last 10 years for total peace of mind.

A carbon monoxide detector continuously monitors and measures the level of carbon monoxide in the air, and will sound a clear alert if it detects the presence of the gas in the air. It is a requirement to install a CO alarm in every room of a property that has a wood or multi fuel stove or fire.
A sealed battery unit such as the Stove Buddy CO Alarm needs to be replaced at the end of it’s lifespan. It is important to regularly test the carbon monoxide detector to ensure that it is working correctly. This can be done by pressing the “Test” button on the front of the unit.
